He was preceded in death by mother Mary Vajellos, brothers Floyde Martinez and Robert Martinez.
Boice is survived by the love of his life, his wife Rita; his brother Michael (Kat) Vajellos; his children Mary Joy and Floyd- also his stepchildren Robin (Tony) Espinoza, Chantel (Patrick) Salazar, Art Garcia; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
The special love in his heart was his cupcake, Aubryanna, granddaughter.
I wish to thank Boies Ortega, Joni Fair Hospice, Sangre de Cristo Community Care hospice, and all other medical staff who took care of my husband during his illness. Special thanks to my sister Penny, and her son Ron, and family for all they've done.
Laid to rest at the south St. Mary Cemetery in Walsenburg. Rosary at St. Mary church in Walsenburg at 1 p.m., Funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. Viewing before Rosary. Reception to follow at Delaney Hall.
