Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18th at 10:30AM at Cliffdale Community Church. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: children, Angela McCalister, Yolanda Lawrence (Travis) and Carlisle Eley (Elizabeth); brothers, Roy Langhorne, Garland Langhorne Sr. and Ernest Langhorne; sisters, Geneva Beckett, Audrey Byrd and Linda Ellis, fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

(Children of Claudette´s Aunt Viola Langhorne Palmer (also deceased)
On behalf of ourselves and in memory of our deceased mother, Mrs. Viola Langhorne Palmer, we wish to extend our most heartfelt condolences to Claudette "Speck"s family in her passing. We are very saddened by the news of her passing. As saddened as we are by her passing, we also rejoice in her victory from suffering. We will always remember Claudette as a beautiful person with a great personality. We missed seeing her at our family reunion this year. Whenever we saw her, she had a great smile and was glad to see her Surry first cousins. Claudette was beautiful inside and out.
We are so sorry that we could not be with you all today as Claudette´s life's celebrated on earth, however, we know that you will be consoled by the love of Claudette´s siblings, other family, and friends. May God continue to bless and keep each of you in His loving care.
