Claudia M. Commodore

Claudia M. (Cuadra) Commodore, 55, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024, in her home after a long battle with cancer, with her family by her side.

Born in Managua, Nicaragua on October 24, 1968, she was the daughter of Adolfo and Martha (Obregon) Cuadra. Claudia loved education since an early age. She attended “Pureza de Maria” in Managua, Nicaragua, a Catholic school from preschool to High School. She obtained her MBA from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. She also attended Mount Wachusett Community College and Fitchburg State University. Throughout her career, she was employed by Simplex Time Recorder Co,, Bemis Associates, Xerox, and Johnson Controls.

Claudia was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, practicing at Holy Spirit Church. Claudia’s greatest loves were God and Family.

Claudia is survived by her parents and maternal grandmother Marina Obregon of Miami, Florida. Claudia leaves behind her husband of 31 years, Eric David Commodore of Gardner; her son, Alexander A. Commodore; her daughter, Kaitlyn M. Commodore; her sister, Martha Nicholson and her husband James Nicholson; her brother, Adolfo Cuadra, Jr.; her nephew, Michael Nicholson; her niece, Jaclyn Nicholson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins in Massachusetts, Florida, and Nicaragua.

 Claudia loved to travel with her family to places like Japan and Europe, with her frequent and favorite being Hawaii and Disney.

 Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Annunciation Parish Holy Spirit Chapel, 50 Lovewell Street, Gardner, MA. Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Monty Tech Foundation, 1050 Westminster Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420, to provide scholarships in her name. Please reference in memory of Claudia M. Commodore.
