Pawtucket - Edward Paul Lowe, Sr., 87, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026. He was the loving husband of Dorothy Silva Lowe for twenty-six years. Born in Natick, MA, he was a son of the late Percy E. and Sadie (Thompson) Lowe.
Edward served in the Army National Guard and went on to receive both his Associates and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting from Bentley University. Edward enjoyed working with numbers and spent his career working in accounting. His jobs included the Purchasing Agent for Robinson Plumbing & Heating in Fall River, MA, the Controller for RB Corcoran Plumbing and Heating in Hyannis, MA. and an Accountant for the former LFE Corporation in Waltham, MA. Above all else, Edward was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he enjoyed traveling with his family to coastal Maine and was active in many youth sports programs. Edward previously served as President of the Q.B. Club for Dennis Yarmouth High School. His love of sports continued as his grandchildren pursued everything from ice hockey to basketball to golf. He spent his free time traveling to every game no matter the weather or time of day. And could easily be identified in the crowd by his brightly colored hat.
In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his children, Edward Lowe, Jr. (Anne Marie) of Georgia, VT, John W. Lowe of South Yarmouth, MA, and Gary S. Lowe (Elizabeth). As well as his beloved grandchildren, Bryan (Regan), Maria (Helen), Stephanie, Paul, James, Hannah, Jacob, and Gabriel. His sister, Margaret Vesper, as well as countless nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Richard D. Lowe as well as his siblings, Thomas Lowe, Robert Lowe, and Donald Lowe.
Funeral Arrangements are private and entrusted to the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave. Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: A local Boys and Girls Club or the youth sports organization of your choice.
