Pawtucket, RI – Norman Bernard Standring, 77, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026. He was the loving husband of the late Carol (Rudzis) Standring and the late Jean (Collette) Standring. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Norman E. and Cora T. (Benoit) Standring.
Norman honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War Era and was stationed in both the Philippines and Maine. He later attended Bryant College. Norman worked as a Computer Technician for various companies and as the Manager of Cranston Printworks. He will be remembered for his loving dedication to his family and for his great intelligence. Norman was also an avid card player who loved Poker and Blackjack.
He leaves behind his beloved siblings, Elaine Standring of Pawtucket, Janine Squires of Pawtucket, Russell Standring (Beth Ottaviano) of North Attleboro, MA, and Steven Standring (Debbie) of Pawtucket and many cherished nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings; Louise Burns and Diane Standring.
VISITATION will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 5PM-7PM at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave. Pawtucket. Interment will be private.
