Claudia E. Krzyzanowski

Claudia Evelyn Krzyzanowski (Filipkowski) of Southgate, peacefully passed away the morning of June 18, 2025, at the age of 88. She was a beloved Mother of 3 Sons, Busia to 10 grandchildren, Super Busia to 6 great-grandchildren, Aunt, Sister and Friend to many who will miss her dearly.
Claudia was a proud Air Force Veteran, awesome homemaker/mother, and retired nurse who graduated college at age 46. She learned to play the accordion at an early age, was an avid seamstress and loved to cook/bake delicious meals. Later in life, Claudia traveled to several countries including Ireland, Germany and Austria, visiting friends.
She is survived by her son Thomas, sister Roberta Avelar (Filipkowski), multiple loving nieces, nephews, grand and great grandchildren, daughters in law, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Krzyzanowski Sr. (Eddie), sons Robert Stephen Krzyzanowski and Gregory Paul Krzyzanowski, parents Wesley and Helen Filipkowski (Wesolowski), and sister Loretta Fallot (Filipkowski) and brother Edward Filipkowski.
