Claudia Lewis

Claudia Lewis departed from us on October 17, 2025, at the age of 71.

Claudia was born on August 10, 1954, in Kansas City, MO to the union of Inez Lewis and Carson Lewis. She was preceded in death by both parents, six brothers, Claude Lewis (twin), Odell Lewis, Earnest Lewis, Charles Lewis, Fenton Lewis and Dan Lewis, four sisters, Delores White, Velva Mitchell, Josephine Moore, and Dorothy Long.

Ms. Claudia was baptized at Church of God and Christ, later becoming a long-standing member of Greater St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Central High School in Kansas City, MO, later she would obtain her GED from Don Bosco Education Center of Kansas City, MO.

Claudia leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter Theresa Lewis, three beautiful grandchildren: Michael Bland Jr. (17), Gianni Amrine (14), and TeRiah Amrine (9), four sisters, Elise Parker, Laurastein Lewis, Francis Lewis, and Bertha Mae Lewis (of California), three brothers, Maurice Lewis, Forest Lewis, and John Lewis, and a host of other nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Although she has left us here for a short time, her good deeds and genuine nature will be remembered forever by her family and close friends.

Visitation will be on October 30, 2025 @ Park Lawn Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 noon with Minister Forest Lewis officiating. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
