Claudia was born in Youngstown, OH, and moved to California in her teenage years. After graduating high school she became a legal secretary in San Bernardino, CA. It was there that she met the love of her life, Jack Gordon Marshall. They were happily married for 64 years, and had two children, June and Gwyn.
Claudia and Jack decided to move their family to Aptos, CA in 1972. Claudia held several different administrative jobs over the years, but truly enjoyed her position as Human Resource Manager, which she retired from at the age of 75.
Claudia was predeceased by her parents, Bryne and Elizabeth, her husband, Jack, and her son-in-law, Larry. She is survived by her children, June and Gwyn, son-in-law, Ron; as well as grandchildren, Matt, Michelle, Nick, Jason and Ashley, and great grandchildren, Owen and Jackson (Little Jack).
Claudia was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Claudia was always supportive of her children and grandchildren, helping them to navigate through their many passions and challenges in their lives. She will be truly missed.
There will be a celebration of life at Benito and Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95062 (831-423-5721) at 2:00 on Friday, September 20th.
