James Marshall, 87, of Circleville passed away on August 18, 2025 at the Kobacher House surrounded by his family. James was a member of BPOE77, was an avid golfer and loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was born on February 18, 1938 in Parkersburg, WV to Donald and Rudolphia (Urschel) Marshall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ruth (Cassidy) Marshall; son Danny Marshall. James is survived by his children Vicki (Tim) Wilkinson, David (Kathy) Marshall and Mary Kay Tomlinson and her fiancé Rick Harding; grandchildren TJ (Julia) Wilkinson, Cassidy (Nathan) Traylor, Stephen (Cara) Wilkinson, Dan (Jessica) Marshall, Jim (Natalie) Marshall, Max (Corrine) Marshall, Kevin (Amber) Connor, Katie (Drew) Massey, Jack Tomlinson, sister Donna Ruck and by sisters-in-law Mary Gaines, Carol Thompson, Linda Ferguson and Shirley Cassidy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at noon at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10-12.
