Adam Q. Cornelison, 18 of Duncan Falls, was taken from us on February 14, 2026, after sustaining injuries in a car accident.
Adam was born on January 7, 2008, in Circleville, Ohio. The son of Tara (Gossett) and Mickey Buck. He spent his time growing up in Duncan Falls, Ohio, where he attended Philo Schools.
He enjoyed sports and spent many years in baseball and football. He was passionate about his favorite team, the LA Rams. He was engaged in helping others and served the homeless at Christ’s Table regularly. Adam also enjoyed beating his friends in online video games. He was a hard worker and was an upstanding employee at Wendy’s at Airport exit.
Adam could always lighten up a room with a joke or just a smile. His heart was too big for his chest and he would always be willing to help a friend in need.
Adam was a resilient young man who faced and overcame many challenges throughout his life, shaping him into the person he became. He was currently a senior at Foxfire High School and had plans to pursue a career in welding.
In addition to his mother and step-father, Adam is survived by his siblings, Peyton Strawsburg; his maternal grandparents, Brad and Lisa Rase; his maternal great-grandmother, Bonnie Watson; step-brother, Caleb Buck and step-sister, McKenna Buck; his several aunts and uncles, Nolen Gossett, Jessica Gough, and Heavenly Edwards; as well as several cousins, countless friends, and his best friends, Owen and Karsten.
Adam is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Don Watson.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial contributions in Adam’s name to Christ Table, 28 South 6th Street, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
Visitations will be held from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A funeral service will take place Thursday at 1 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Jamie West will officiate the service. Adam will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
