It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Claudia Parker, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on September 21, 2024. Born on November 10, 1953, in Richfield, Utah to Norma Jean Stocks and James Millard Wood. She married Dean Stauffer Parker On March 12, 1972. They remained married for 52 years until her passing. Claudia lived a life full of love, kindness, and selflessness.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Dean, her two beloved children, Amber and Matt, her daughter-in-law, Annie, and her two grandchildren, Asher and Logan, whom she adored with all her heart. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Claudia, a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, was known for her warmth and generosity, always putting others before herself. She had a natural gift for bringing people together, hosting family get-togethers that were filled with laughter, love, and delicious food. Her honesty and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love and memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary (6500 South Redwood Rd), from 6:00-8:00pm, where family and friends are invited to honor her memory. Funeral Services will be held at the Crosspointe Church (1327 West 5550 South) September 26, 2024 with a viewing from 9:00-10:15am, followed by a funeral service at 10:30am. Following the funeral service Claudia will be interred at Mountain View cemetery in Marysvale, Utah.

Claudia's legacy of love, kindness, and family will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a world that is brighter for having had her in it.

 May she rest in peace.
