Claudia R. "Nah-Nah" Pelkey

Claudia R. "Nah-Nah" Pelkey, 72, of Wilton, NH, went home to her Lord and Savior, March 18, 2024, peacefully in her sleep at home. Claudia was born March 19, 1951, in Nashua, NH, the daughter of Leona (Lavoie) Levesque and Alcide Levesque of Nashua, NH.
Claudia graduated from Nashua High School in 1969, then entered straight into the workforce. She and her late husband Dean Pelkey, after six years of courtship, married February 3, 1973. Three years later, in 1976, they purchased their first and last home, moved to Wilton and called it their hometown for the past 48 years.
Claudia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She always opened her home up to anyone who needed a good home-cooked meal or just a place to hang out. Claudia was a longtime member of the Good News Bible Church for close to 29 years. Her faith and relationship to the Lord was an extremely important part of her life and to who she was as a person. Claudia was also a devoted and beloved LNA, working for Harborside Crestwood Nursing Home for 15 years, still working part time right up until her passing.
Claudia is survived by her daughter Stacy (Pelkey) Matte and her husband John and their three children, Bailey and Abram Peters and Olivia Matte, all of Wilton, NH; her two sons Joel Pelkey and his longtime girlfriend Mary-Jane Desmarais and his son Gabriel Pelkey, all of Wilton, NH, Cory Pelkey of Newmarket, NH; her sisters Christina Michaud of Nashua, NH, Lorraine Cunha and her husband Ron Cunha of Nashua, NH; her brother Raymond Levesque and his wife Cathy of Omaha, NE; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is predeceased by her husband Dean M. Pelkey of Wilton, NH.
A celebration of life will be held at Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St Wilton, NH, on Saturday March 23, 2024, at 1pm. Pastor Peter Vitellu of the Good News Bible Church will officiate. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
