It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to share the unexpected passing of Claudine Tariche on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the age of 47. Claudine was the most wonderful daughter, sister, loving wife to Rob, amazing mother to her two children, Lucas (13) and Elyse (11), and a true friend to all.
Claudine grew up in Staten Island, went to Farleigh Dickinson for her undergrad, and then received her master's degree from Wagner College. She was an incredible teacher at PS185 in Brooklyn for over 20 years. Her love for animals was immeasurable. From cold, snowy mountains to warm sand and waves, skiing and the beach were two of her favorite things.
Losing Claudine so unexpectedly is something unimaginable, and something that will never be healed. This family will never be the same without her, and neither will anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. To know Claudine was to love her. She will be so deeply missed, and we hope that the memory of her kind wonderful soul will live on forever.
It is in times of sadness and loss when people come together to help one another to make it through. Please keep the family in your prayers during this devastating time.
Thank you in advance for your loving kindness.
Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Ave., Fanwood on Wednesday, December 13th from 4-8PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, December 14th at 11AM.
