Clayton Howard Acker

Clayton Acker 64 of Ralls passed away January 2, 2026. He was born on January 4, 1961, in Dimmitt, Texas, to Don Joseph and Betty May Leinen Acker. He married Terrie Scott on March 19, 1998, in Ralls, Texas. Clayton loved working on cars, fishing and hunting with his dad, kids, and grandchildren, he was a great storyteller and loved to go bargain hunting and negotiating the price on everything he bought. He took great pleasure in collecting antique toys. He was a friend to many and will be sorely missed.

He is preceded in death by his father Don Acker.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 27 years Terrie Acker of Ralls, his mother Betty Acker of Nazareth, three daughters, Krista Acker of Tulia, Brittany Bentley and husband Andy of Lubbock, Tiffany Horton of Ralls, three sons, Clinton Acker of Wilson, Corey and wife Aimee of Tulia, Casey Acker of Ralls. Two brothers Frank Acker and wife Paula of Amarillo, Vance Acker and wife Teresa of Weatherford, one sister Roeann Gee and husband Micheal of Amarillo. He also leaves behind his pride and joy eight grandchildren, Clayton Joe, Wesley Clayton, Kailey, Emma, Bailey, Kaylob, Harper, and Rylee.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday January 6, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in Ralls. Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
