Kathy Light, age 70, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away at Medical City-Dallas, on Saturday, January 10, 2026. No formal services are planned at this time.
Kathy Ann Light was born on April 2, 1955, to Bill Moore and Lois (Edwards) Gandy in Ralls, Texas. She worked as an administrative assistant for over thirty years. In her free time, she loved getting her nails and hair done and playing games on her phone. She also loved to spend time with her only grandson, Landyn Davis, or as she called him, her “little man”. She remembered fondly the time that she went with him to Disney World and would say it was one of her favorite memories.
Ms. Light is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Davis; son, Shelby Light; grandson, Landyn Davis; brothers, Bryan Moore and his wife, Teri, Darrell Moore and his wife, Sharla, Will Moore and his wife, Erica; sister, Becki Moore Hebert and her husband, Jon; step-sister, Angela West Robichaux; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Bill Moore and Lois Gandy; and her step-father Ray Gandy.
