Clayton Logan, 90, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones, including his faithful dog Abbie, on September 28, 2025. He was born April 9, 1935, to Robert and Ila Lou (Rainey) Logan and graduated from Leatherwood High School in 1953. Clayton served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1953-1957. After his service, he began a long career with General Motors, working in Skilled Trades in Sample Build, where he built starters and alternators. He retired in 1996 after 33 and a half years of dedicated service. On August 15, 1970, Clayton married the love of his life, Rita, and together they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. He was active in Ovid Community Church and a devoted member of the Freemasons, serving as Past Master, and of the Eastern Star, serving as Past Patron. He also enjoyed coaching Little League baseball, woodworking, and, most of all, spending time with his family. Clayton is survived by beloved wife, Rita Logan; daughter, Deborah (Tim) Livesay; sons, Robert (Susan) Brown, Darrell Logan, Dale Logan, and DeWayne Jefferson; sister, Ruth Bustle; grandchildren, Zachary (Jennifer) Livesay, Kaitlyn (Andrew) Plank, Emily (Casey) Kendrick, Kyleigh (M.J.) Woods, Jacob Brown, Darah Logan, Karah Logan, and Dylan Logan ; (9) great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Clayton was preceded in death by parents, Robert Logan and Ila Logan, (3) brothers; (4) sisters; niece, Ruby Logan, nephew, Billy Logan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson IN 46013. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM with Pastors Keith Wooden and John David Delgado officiating at Loose Funeral Homes. Cremation will take place after the service. www.LooseCares.com.
