Clayton Hawthorne Partan

Clayton Hawthorne Partan, known as Clay by friends and family, went home to be with Jesus on February 5, 2022. His parents were blessed to have him and be able to love him for 14 years. Clay leaves behind his parents, Virginia (Ginny) and Cristian Partan; his big sister and best friend, Izabela Partan; his grandparents, John and Maria Partan; and his grandparents, Danny and Barbara Snodgrass. Clay also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He loved his cousins and friends dearly. Clay was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, and attended school at Faith Covenant Academy, both located in Huntsville, AL. Clay did not love schoolwork, but he loved his teachers. Clay was the sweetest, kindest boy, with the biggest heart. His hobbies outside of school included playing airsoft with his friends, playing golf with his Dad, fishing and talking about the Army with his grandfathers, and virtual reality video games. He loved tinkering with, taking things apart and discovering all the parts as he put them back together. Clay loved music and dancing to it. And watching funny videos and just laughing and laughing. Clay was always aware of others encouraging them to join in activities, sharing his kind heart to anyone seeming to be in need of encouragement and acting as a mentor for them. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at the church with the Rev. Tim Tatum officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
