Clemens Konen Obituary
He was born September 21, 1933, in the Town of Marshfield to Clemens Sr. & Cordula (Guelig) Konen.
On September 26, 1953, he married Lorraine Lenz at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Louis Corners. Lorraine preceded him in death on September 16, 2024.
Doc was employed with the Kohler Company for 40+ years until his retirement.
He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Louis Corners. Doc also belonged to the Kohler Company Quarter Century Club. During his lifetime, he and Lorraine enjoyed snowmobiling and camping in their motorhome.
Doc is survived by his son, Dr. Robert (Janet) Konen of Baraboo, WI; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Konen of Howards Grove; four grandsons, Jason (Jessica) Konen, Karl Konen, Daniel Konen, and Nicholas Konen (girlfriend, Sydney); two great-grandchildren, Aiden & Ashlyn Konen; Foster Brothers, David Matthies and Darwin Matthies; other relatives and friends, especially a close family friend, Loretta Mauer.
Preceding Doc in death were his wife, Lorraine; a son, Harold Konen; and his parents, Clemens Sr. & Cordula Konen; his brothers, David, Jerome, James, and Oscar Konen; and his sister, Rosemary Jung.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI. Rev. Ted Olsen will officiate. Doc will be laid to rest next to his wife, Lorraine in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Louis Corners.
Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Doc's family at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein on Saturday, June 21st from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Louis Corners.
