Clemente Garza Obituary
Clem is survived by his wife Maryln Ferranti, Son, John Garza and wife Kate, and their children John Jr, Marissa, Tyler, and Jace. Daughter, Jennifer Bibb and husband James, and their children Hunter, Hayden, and Henleigh. Step-Granddaughter Michelle Minor, her husband Anthony, and their son AJ Minor; sister, Alice Garza, brother, Rudy Garza, as well as numerous other relatives and great friends.
Funeral Arrangements are as follows,
A Memorial Visitation, Friday, 1/5 5PM-8PM, Scott Funeral Home, 1421 E Hwy 6, Alvin, TX 77511. A Prayer Service- Saturday, 1/6, at 11AM-12:30PM, Grace Episcopal Church, 200 W Lang St, Alvin, TX 77511. A lunch- Saturday, 1/6, at 12:30PM-3PM, St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 110 E. South St, Alvin, TX 77511

I remember the pride I felt as I saw Clem serve as a Alvin ISD Board member, as a volunteer with Alvin ISD/ Alvin Community College's Hispanic Outreach- Pathways to Education - HOPE Awards and as a volunteer chaperone to the Houston Hispanic Forum Career and Education Day. Later in life, I enjoyed seeing him serve on the Region IV Education Service Center Board of Directors.
Clem was a good friend who believed in helping others and serving his community. While I didn't often see him, I will miss him. I will treasure my memories of serving alongside him to help the youth of our community.
