Cleo Hunter at the age of 105 years and 2 days, went to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on October 10th, 2023. Cleo was born on October 8th, 1918 in McLean, Texas to Anson and Maude Lee. Cleo and her husband Herb lived in the Four Corners area for over 70 years. She served at the Church in Vallecito Lake, playing the piano, organ, and started a quilting group. She later moved to Bloomfield and started a quilting group at First Baptist Church of Bloomfield that has made and donated over 2000 quilts. Her home was always open to family and friends, and she always had a meal for everyone. She truly loved the Lord and will be missed by so many who called her family and friends.

Cleo is preceded in death by her husband Herb Hunter and his sons Richard and Bob Hunter, her son Kenny King, daughter in law Marian King, granddaughter Cherryl Myers, grandson Charles Hunter, brother Loyd Lee, sisters Anateen Hunt and Ellon Aulburt, and Hugh King father of her sons.

Survived are devoted son Ron King, along with grandchildren Rick Hunter and wife Nina, Ron King Jr., Shawna Munson, Kevin King, Kimberly Arnold and husband Jamey, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous great- great grandchildren.

Services for Cleo will be held October 23rd, 2023 at 11am at the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield, NM. Burial to be held October 24th at 3pm at Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean, TX.
