Cleophas Smith Obituary
Cleophas "Smitty" Smith Jr. was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, to parents Annie Shaw-Smith and Cleophas Smith Sr. on May 20, 1967. Mr. Cleo married Michele Bailey-Smith in February of 2012, then moved to reside in New Mexico in 2017. He graduated from West Division High School and attended the Milwaukee Business Training Institute for computer training, where he earned a degree in computer programming. Mr. Cleo worked as a youth counselor, computer programmer, and a loan officer. Mr. Cleo was also a veteran, devoted father, husband, papa, brother, uncle, and friend.
Mr. Cleo is survived by his wife, Michele Bailey-Smith, and their 4 children, Antoinette Smith, Kayla Smith-Ruiz, Cavanaugh Smith, Cameron Smith, Michael Tipton-Evans, and Cierra Tipton-Evans. His grandchildren are Kimaria Smith, Carter Smith, Cavanaugh Smith II, Kenslei Smith, and Bailey Ruiz-Smith. Mr. Cleo's surviving brother, Kyle Shaw, and sisters Laura Shaw, Cynthia Eckles, brother-in-law Michael Eckles, his best friends Kenneth Huff, and Jeff.
Mr. Cleo Smith was a very loving, understanding, and caring human being. He will be deeply missed by everyone. He is now home with his father.
