Cleta Fern Malouff entered into eternity December 20, 2024, after a long and valiant battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
She was the beloved wife of Nimon J. Malouff and devoted mother to her children: Carolyn Coury (Tony), Regina Hennessy (Jim), Ed Malouff, Laine Malouff (Lynn), Juliana Malouff-McCroskey (Mark), Nick Malouff (Tammy), Rebecca Dorman (Randy), Terri Malouff (Sen), and Jennifer Schultz (Dan). She was also the loving grandmother of seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Cleta started her life journey on May 14, 1931, in New Castle, Oklahoma, and ended it in Cave Creek, Arizona. She was the seventh child of Samuel G. Stark and Minta E. Stark (Trotter). Cleta was predeceased by her husband and son Edward. She is survived by her remaining eight children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Lena Faye Edwards.
Cleta met her husband, Nimon, in Colorado and they wed in January of 1950. Nimon passed away in 1966, leaving her with nine children. Choosing not to remarry, she dedicated herself to raising her children and running the family business. Cleta's moral character was beyond reproach. She was also an excellent creative cook and could make any dish from a seemingly empty pantry. The result was always delicious. She will be deeply missed by her children. She was the strength in their lives after their father's death. Rest in Peace, dear Mother; you deserve heavenly Peace. We will love you forever.
