Cleta May Willingham

FORT WORTH - Cleta Willingham passed away on January 12, 2025 at her home in Fort Worth, Texas. Cleta was born August 4, 1959 to John and Dorothy (Westover) Coleman in Fort Worth.
She grew up in White Settlement and graduated from Brewer High School in 1977. She graduated from North Texas State University with a degree as a Respiratory Therapist. She loved working with children and worked at Cooks Children's Hospital for over 40 years, which included exciting and rewarding times in Teddy Bear Transport.
Cleta was a fighter, for the last 25 years she fought ovarian cancer, breast cancer and pancreatic cancer. Cleta did all sorts of fun runs to help support different groups, especially for the ones for ovarian and breast cancer. She also loved being out in the water in her kayak.
Cleta is survived by her husband Timmy Roberts and his children, Crystal Romero (Joe), Kellie Brown (Allen), and Kyle Roberts (Amanda); her siblings, Charles Coleman (Judy), Cathie Witkowski (David), Clay Coleman (Danna); 10 grandchildren, a lot of cousins, two aunts and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Cleta will always be remembered by her family and friends as a caring, giving, and a loving person with a smile that would light up an entire room. She will be missed.
Cleta's funeral will be on Friday, January 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3621 Tulsa Way, Fort Worth 76107. After the funeral there will be light refreshments and visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Cleta's memory to Cook Children's Health Foundation or Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation.
