He was born June 26, 1937 in Monroe, TN to Bernard Zachary Beason and Mahala Jane (Taylor) Beason. He was a member of Barnes Ridge Church of Christ, a retired Pickett County Court Clerk and a past co-owner of Pickett Auto Parts.
Cletis is survived by Wife: Anita (Winningham) Beason ; (2) Daughters: Rhonda Young and Husband: Larry, Rebecca Gunnels and Husband: Scott ; (3) Sons: Frankie Beason and Wife: Debbie, Stephen Beason and Wife: Marla, Darrell Beason and Wife: Donna ; (15) Grandchildren and (15) Great-Grandchildren ; Special Nephew: Gary Winningham and Wife: Sheila. Also survived by nieces, nephews other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Bernard and Mahala Beason.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ken Collins and Bro. Danny Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Barnes Cemetery.
* The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Chapel *
