Funeral Services will be held at Whiddon Shiver Funeral Home on Wednesday - September 24, 2025 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Mitch Clements officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Wendy was born in Avon Park, FL on July 9, 1964 to Fred Phillips and the late Sandra Peed. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Development and worked for Hand & Hand Elementary School. She was a member of Summerhill Baptist Church.
She is survived by; her husband, Steve Allen Beason of Thomasville, GA, her daughters, Jennifer Morrell (Adrian) of Pelham, GA, and Rebecca Beason of Tallahassee, FL, grandson, Reuben Morrell, her father, Fred Phillips of Avon Park, FL, and her sisters, Lorri Ann Phillips of Warick, FL, and Traci Lyn Palmer of Quitman, GA.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by; stepmother, Helen M. Phillips, stepfather, Olin Peed, mother-in-law, Mabel Beason, and father-in-law, Clyde Beason.
