Cleveland "Joe" Stephone Johnson went to be with the Lord and "entered eternal rest" on July 29, 2025 at the age of 61. Cleveland was born in Norfolk County, VA on October 28, 1963 to the late Cora Lee Johnson and Herman Sykes. Upon graduating from school, he worked as a mechanic and later at Cox Cable. He was employed at Koez Kustoms.

Joe's love for his family was evident in the countless ways he supported us. He loved his family and friends. He was a constant presence at family gatherings, including about every funeral service. Joe loved working on Cars and fixing things, and his laughter and jokes created lasting good memories for all who knew him.

Joe was a member of Emmanuel True Holiness Church where he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal saver while a member under the late Bishop Calton Ford. Joe recently renewed his soul salvation and totally surrendered to Jesus Christ before he went home to Glory. His favorite scripture were Psalm 91 and Psalm 23.

Joe was predeceased by mother, Cora Lee Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Antwanette Skinner and Shamika Skinner; two sons, Jarrell Johnson and Tramaine Simpkins; his grandchildren, Zaila Savage, Tavion Skinner, Brayllen Williams; great grandchildren, Taylor Skinner and Tatum Skinner; special siblings, Venus May, Alfred Robinson, Jr. (Rhonda), Celease Boone (Paul), Paul Robinson (Taneika), Henry May, Jr.; very special friend, Robin Hicks. His memory will also be cherished by all his nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Our beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and dear friend will be deeply missed.
