He was born to Lubertha and Cleavon Wright on June 16, 1959 in New Madrid MO.
David loved fishing and football. He was a serious Colt's fan. He was very big on family time and often spent his spare time with them. Everyone hung out on his front porch. He had an amazing personality and was the family joker.
He is preceded in death by his father, one daughter; Salinda K. Polly and a grandson; David Polly Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife; Diana, of 43 years, his mother, one daughter; Stacey (Vincent) Coleman, two sons; Maurice Wright, William Wright, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, a very special niece ; Crystal Forrest, and a host of other family and friends.
Celebration of life services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church. The calling hour is 11:00 a.m. and funeral at 12:00 p.m. with burial at Gardens of Memory immediately following.
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel will handle the arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.meeksmortuary.com
