Clia Molfetas

Clia Molfetas (née Remantas), 96, of River Vale, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2024. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony Molfetas. Devoted mother of Esther Molfetas and Valerie M. Phillips. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Peter Remantas. Clia was born in New York City to Victoria (née Corinthiou) and Efstathios Remantas. She was a loving homemaker, and a lifetime member of the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Theologian Ladies of Philoptochos Society. Visiting Sunday, January 21st, 2:00-6:00 PM (Trisaigon Blessing 3:00 PM) at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. Funeral Service Monday, January 22nd, 11:00 AM at the Metropolitan Cathedral of St. John the Theologian, 353 East Clinton Avenue, Tenafly. Clia will be laid to rest with her husband at George Washington Memorial Park, Century & Paramus Roads, Paramus.
