Cliff McCardel Obituary
Cliff was born in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Wiley July McCardel and the late Madeline Frances Mehaffey McCardel. He was also preceded in death by the mother of his children, Ann Freeman McCardel.
He is survived by his wife, Pegg Raines Dodgen McCardel of Cordele; his daughters, Mary McCardel (John) Tinseth of Macon, Georgia, and Martha McCardel (Mike) Hinderleider of Lawrenceville, Georgia; and his sister, Rosa McCardel Martin of Columbus. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Alan (Jen) Hinderleider, Ashley Hinderleider of Atlanta, Molly (Logan) Cooper, and Trey Estes of Statesboro, Georgia. His surviving nieces and nephews include Doug Martin and Jenni (Younan) Khamis, both of Columbus; Melissa (Patrick) Stone of Byron, Georgia; Darrell (Kathy) Raines of Ellijay, Georgia; and Scotty Raines and Kyle Raines, both of Cordele. His Furbaby, Tebow, also survives.

I remember Cliff so well from when we lived in Edgewood. He and Sandy were friends and what I remember most was how kind and sweet he was to me. Please extended my sympathy to his family.
