Clifford "Joe" Joseph Bertrand, 63, of Sulphur, LA passed away on August 23, 2024, in a local hospital. Joe enjoyed music and being around family and friends. He was a Sulphur native where he played sports for LeBlanc Middle School and Sulphur High School. He worked for Frasch Parks and Recreation in the maintenance division as a groundskeeper and shrimped while enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends over the years. Joe was a volunteer fireman with Houston River Fire Department and also loved watching wrestling. He also loved supporting his LSU football team.
Those left to cherish his memory are his four sons, Clinton Bertrand, Christopher Bertrand, Corey Bertrand and Kelan Bertrand; one daughter Kristen Bertrand ; two siblings, Bubba Bertrand and wife Rachel and Bobby Bertrand; mother, Eva Bertrand; 9 grandchildren; niece and nephew, Tyler Bertrand and Anna Daigle and Laiken Little and husband Coby, and Hayden Bertrand; and was loved by his great nieces and nephews.
Clifford is preceded in death by his father, Clifton Bertrand; and his Paternal and Maternal Grandparents.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 PM August 30th, 2024, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday August 29th, 2024, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be at Farquhar cemetery. Pastor Marcus wade will officiate services.
