Shirley Jannette Henry, 73, of Sulphur, LA died on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Shirley Henry was born on March 4, 1952, in Lake Charles, LA to Garner and Mary Lack. She enjoyed reading, gardening and being outside. Shirley also loved being around friends and family as well as cooking and eating crawfish.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Heath Henry, Kimberly Lynn Wright, and Cheryl Elaine Gintz; grandchildren, Cody James Jardneaux and Jodi Lynn Prudhomme, Devin Broussard, and Colby Broussard; great grandchildren, Aydyn Paul Jardneaux, Trip Morgan, and Luke Ryan Thompson; siblings, Brenda Scarborough (David), Donald Lack, and Scot Cookson (Pam).
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jody Lee Cormier; grandparents; husband, Paul Henry; sister-in-law, Cynthia Lack; and brother-in-law, Wesley Scarborough.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur.
