Brian James Allen, 50, of Sulphur, LA passed away on April 14, 2025, in Houston, TX surrounded by his loving family. Brian was born at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital on December 31st, 1974. He graduated from La Grange High School Class of 1994 and from McNeese University with a degree in Bookkeeping and Hospitality. Brian was a lifelong resident of the lake area and employed by Occasions Catering. He was a very smart and generous person who was known for his talents of decorating and making people feel special.
Those left to cherish his memory are his special friends, Roderick Stutes of Sulphur, LA and Heath Martin of Houston, TX; sisters, Wanda Mulkey of Loranger, LA, Mary and Gary Bertrand of Sulphur, LA and Johnnie Bell and Jeff Walker of Hammond, LA; nieces; nephews; and great nieces and nephews survive him as well.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Allen of Lake Charles, LA.
Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, at the Roderick Stutes Country Home, located at 7254 HWY 1133, Sulphur, La., 70665. Friends and family will gather in the loving memory of Brian from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur, LA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Brian.
