Clifford S. Chesley Jr.

Clifford S. Chesley, Jr., 66, of Whitinsville has graduated and went to his Lord on Sunday January 23, 2022 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Darlene M. (Clark) Chesley.
Mr. Chesley was born in 1955 in Whitinsville the son of the late Clifford S. Chesley, Sr. and Aurelia (Mead) Chesley and was a graduate of Sutton High School. He had worked as a caregiver for the Commonwealth of MA for many years.
He loved his God, his church family at Valley Chapel and reading the Bible. He loved music and singing and played various instruments. He also took great pride in his family and loved his children and grandchildren deeply.
Cliff, along with his wife, enjoyed hosting parties and singing around the piano at their home, taking bus trips throughout the Northeast and also liked hunting and fishing. With a keen interest in family heritage and cultures, he enjoyed history and the Native American culture and experience.
In addition to his devoted wife Darlene of 45 years, he is survived by his two sons Jason P. and his wife Jane Chesley of Edinboro, PA and Jonathan A. Chesley of Taunton; a brother Thomas Chesley of Webster; four grandchildren Trinity, Aidan, Trent, and Harper and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters Rebecca and Jocelyn.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Ascend Hospice of Marlborough, Tri-River Health Center in Uxbridge and to the UMass Medical Center – Liver Transplant Unit for their care and compassion.
A memorial service will be held Sunday January 30, 2022 at 2 PM in the Valley Chapel, 14 Hunter Road, Uxbridge with Rev. Robert Howard, Pastor, officiating. A time of fellowship will immediately follow in the church café.
