Clifford Jones Sr., 67, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 23, 1958, Clifford lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment.
Clifford cherished his family above all else. He found joy in hunting, cheering for his beloved Dallas Cowboys, and sharing his humor with those around him. His greatest passion was truck driving—a career he pursued for many years with unmatched skill and pride. Known as one of the best in his field, Clifford’s dedication and work ethic left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He was married to his wife, Jennifer Jones, for 43 years, a partnership marked by love and resilience. Together they raised four children: Clifford Belcher (November), Ciara Carmichael (Terrence), Dante Jones, and Clifford “C.J.” Jones Jr. Clifford’s legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Lorenzo, Lourdis, Terrence II, Camryn, Kyndall, Kase, Domanique, Tiana, Harlem and Ta’Leaha.
Clifford was preceded in death by his grandmother Carrie Lou Howie, mother Lillian Graham (Tucker), father Allen Jones, brothers Marvin Jones and Allen “A.J.” Jones, and his beloved daughter Symone Alexis Jones.
He is survived by his siblings Marcialene Slate, Carrie Byrd, Ronald Martin, Lisa Graham Featherstone (Dale), and Lloyd Graham (Heather), as well as his favorite niece Tanya Jones. Clifford will be remembered as a simple, hilarious, and kind-hearted man whose presence brought joy to countless lives.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions – Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231.
