Clifford M. Murray Jr.

Clifford M. Murray, Jr., age 96, of Telford, entered into heavenly rest on Thursday, December 18, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Jane (Kindig) Murray, with whom he shared over 57 years of marriage. He was a lifetime resident of Souderton, PA.

He was born August 9, 1929, in Sellersville, PA, and was the son of the late Clifford M., Sr. and Stella (Nice) Murray.

He was a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather, and is survived by his daughters, Colleen J. Bonham, Cathleen M. Patterson, and Patricia M. Green (Gregory); grandchildren, Dana (Julia), Corinne (Mike), Brett, Jordan (Jen), and Emily (Nick); and great-grandchildren, Dalton, Jack, Carson and Delilah. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia M. Conti. He was predeceased by sons-in-law, Roger D. Bonham and Robert L. Patterson, Jr.

Cliff was a 1947 graduate of Souderton Area High School. He served in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was a faithful lifelong member of Zwingli U.C.C., Souderton, PA. His employment began at Louis Goldsmith Co. in Souderton. His career then began and continued, alongside his family members, at Conti's Cross Keys Inn, Doylestown, PA, and with Pipersville Tavern, Pipersville, PA.

Cliff's greatest pleasure in life came from time spent with friends, family, and especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He played and loved sports of all genres his entire life. He was a devoted local area and Philadelphia sports fan of the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and the 76ers. He had a vast knowledge of sports statistics and was an avid horse racing fan. He participated in league bowling, loved playing billiards, cards, going on casino trips, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and fishing. He was formerly an active member of Generations of Indian Valley.

A memorial service for Clifford will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA, where family will greet guests from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery, 157 N. Second St., Souderton, PA.
