A native of Greer, South Carolina, son of the late Earl Samuel and Laura Addie Reese Turner, he was a retired employee of Donahue Woodworking and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Karen Hadden Turner of the home; two sons, Scott Turner (Cheryl) of Campobello, South Carolina, and Kevin Turner of Spartanburg, South Carolina; two daughters, Marion F. Turner and Deida K. Lamb both of Spartanburg, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Landon, Tabitha, Abbey, Courtney, Tyler, Cy and Keltci; and eight great-grandchildren, Collins, Crew, Brock, Macie, Gage, Ariana, Atlee, and Jonah.
He was predeceased by one sister, Hazel Turner Forrester.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at their respective homes.
