Clinton Bell Obituary

Clinton A. Bell was born on September 5, 1937, to the late George W. Bell and Maude Fouraker Bell, in Yulee Florida. He went to be with his Lord on December 13, 2025.

Clinton was raised in Callahan, Florida and graduated from Callahan High School in 1955. He was a lifetime member of the Callahan/Anchor Church of God where he served his Lord for many years on the church council as well as church clerk. Clinton retired from the Florida Department of Transportation in 2004. His legacy throughout his career and service was a man of honesty, kindness, and integrity.

Clinton loved bluegrass music and loved playing his banjo with great joy, along with many other instruments. He was a founding member of the Bell Family Bluegrass Gospel band.

Clinton is survived by his wife of 67 years, JoAnn Bell; sons, Clinton Bell, Jr. (Ann) and Terry S. Bell (Donnette); sister, Marilyn Bell Thomas; grandchildren, Heather Bell Hicks (Blake), Taryn Bell, Taylor Bell, and Debony Johnson (Marty); great grandchildren, Dalton Hicks, Hunter Hicks, Dallas Hicks, Verity Bell, Marvin Johnson, Mariah Johnson; and numerous nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Baptist Heart Hospital for their love, professionalism, and tender care for our dad.

The tribute above was prepared by Clinton's loving family.
