Clinton Glen Jensen age 72, passed away on January 31, 2024. He was born August 29, 1951, in Twin Falls, Idaho, the son of Clinton Glen and Racine Mae Hornaday Jensen.
Clint graduated from Minidoka High School in 1970. He married Marilyn Farrar on March 4, 1972 in the Firth Church. They were later sealed on May 15, 1976 in the Laie Hawaii Temple.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. He helped lead boy scouts with the boys in his ward and in doing so raised three sons who all became Eagle Scouts. Clint worked for INEL for 27 years in various positions including welder, pipe fitter, boiler operator, fabricator and planner.
Clint served his country in the US Navy from January 1, 1971 until January 1978. He was an outdoor enthusiast his entire life. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, yard sales and especially his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He always made sure to take his kids fishing and hunting. He had a lifelong love of Diet Pepsi. The best words to describe Clint were very friendly, kind and generous and no one was a stranger. Clint loved to serve others and would have given anyone the shirt off his back.
Clint was preceded in death by his parents; Marilyn’s parents Bill and True Farrar, a sister Beverlee Frandsen; brother-in-law’s Darell Farrar, Keith Farrar, Dale Schwendiman, Boyd Hulse, grandson Zack Pruett.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Jensen of Firth, ID; his daughter Roxanna Rowberry of Winnemucca, NV; his three sons, Chris (Laura) Jensen of Shelley, ID; Aaron (Audra) Jensen of Shelley, ID; Scott (Annalyn) Jensen of Firth, ID; son-in-law Justin Rowberry; sister Barbara Hulse of Irrigon, OR; -brother-in-law’s Reed (LaRee) Farrar; Steven (Kellie) Farrar; Wayne Frandsen; sister-in-law’s Jan Schwendiman; Beverly (Tony) Bell; Mary Farrar, eight grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Firth Ward Chapel, 744 N 600 E. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 P.M at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street, in Shelley and Wednesday from 9:30 till 10:45 A.M. at the church. Burial will be in the Firth Cemetery with military rites.
