Clinton Logan Obituary
He was born in Conneautville on November 19, 1936, a son of Thomas and Catherine (Ohl) Logan. On June 20, 1959, Clinton married the former Joyce Sarafite, she survives.
He was a graduate of Edinboro University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in secondary education, then graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. Clinton taught at Townville High School and in 1968 he opened his private dental practice in Meadville.
He was a member of St. Brigid Church. Clinton was an avid golfer and historian. He was a member of many community organizations and clubs.
In addition to his wife of 65 years, he is survived by three daughters, Elisa and her husband Steven Margolis of Pittstown, NJ, Deann Taylor and her husband James of Boulder, CO, Kristin Hope and her fiancé Charlie Heller of Meadville; a sister, Ann Guiney of Conneautville; four grandsons, Clinton and Nicholas Taylor and Spencer and Clayton Hope; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Isobel Knoepfli, Jean Neidermeyer, and Elizabeth Logan; two brothers, George and Thomas Logan.
Family and friends will be received at ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. 581 CHESTNUT ST. MEADVILLE on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 4:00-6:00 PM. Inurnment will be in St. Brigid Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Meadville Public Library, 848 N. Main St., Meadville, PA 16335.
