Clinton Masterson

Clinton (Buddy) Seleston Masterson passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025 in Modesto at the age of 93. Clint was born on February 16, 1932 in Dunklin County, Missouri to parents Edd and Georgia (Arnold) Masterson. He has been a resident of the Waterford-Hickman area for over 64 years.
After Highschool Clint enlisted in the US Army where he proudly served from 1952 until 1954 after which he served in the Army Reserves until 1960. After leaving the military, Clint worked in construction and farmed. On his time off Clint enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. He was an animal lover and a simple man of few words.
Clint leaves behind his children, Phylus Brown (Roy), Ted Masterson (Joanne) and Linda Masterson, his grandchildren, Heather Overman (Joshua), Richie Hartsfield (Cortney), Lisa Packard (Daniel), Jessica Waller (Chris) and Kyle Masterson along with 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Clint also leaves behind his siblings, Lou Davis and Johnny Masterson as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edd and Georgia Masterson and his siblings, Margaret Dunaway, Regina Dowdy, Pansy Swain, Joanne Crucani, and Thomas Masterson.
As per Clints requests, there will not be any funeral services. His ashes will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Clinton, please visit our Tree Store.
