Clinton Eugene Thomas Jr., age 54, of Akron passed away on September 5, 2024.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 5, 1969. He grew up in Brooklyn, North Carolina and Akron. He played college basketball in both California and New York. His last career path was in the health care field in a group home where he was very much liked. He lived for basketball and coached many youth teams.
He is preceded in death by his father Clinton Eugene Thomas Sr. and stepmother Hilda Williams Thomas; and mother Jean Dobbs Williams
He is survived by his daughter R'ryona Thomas and her mother D'shawna Dupree; son Clinton Eugene Thomas III, son Ta'Shawn Thomas and daughter Brooklyn Thomas and their mother Shawntey Davis; stepfather Leon Williams Sr.; brother Leon Williams Jr.; sister Tammie Harris; fiancee Kaniea Waiters; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
Visitation will be September 21st, Saturday 2-4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home with services beginning promptly at 4 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
