Clover Louise Rogers (née Longcore) passed away peacefully in Pickerington, Ohio on February 18, 2026, just six weeks before she would have celebrated her 101 birthday.

Clover was born on April 3, 1925 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Clarence and Nola Longcore. She was the oldest of seven siblings who grew up in Paw Paw, Michigan. She attended Paw Paw High School where she graduated in 1942. After graduation she lived at home helping to raise her younger siblings while working in a local defense industry plant during the war assembling airplane engines.

She married the late Ralph Rogers in 1946 and they lived in numerous places throughout the United States while raising their family. The marriage ended in divorce in 1995.

Clover is survived by her son Steven (SallyAnn) Rogers, a daughter Laurie (Rick) Crago, a grandson Ian Rogers, a granddaughter Ashley (Jared) Peshek, a great grandson Jakob Peshek, a sister Melva DeVries, several nieces and nephews and their families, and so many others who loved and admired her.

Clover will always be remembered for her independence, kind spirit, and her love of family. Her constant smile and laugh were gifts to everyone who knew her and will be long remembered.

There will be a family memorial service later in the spring when Clover is laid to rest in her native Michigan.
