Born November 12, 1947 in Dumas, Arkansas , she was a daughter of the late Jesse Lee Tillar, Sr. and Burneice Brown. She was a member of Union Baptist M.B.C. in Dumas and a retired Jailer/ Radio Dispatcher for the Dumas Police Department.
Survivors include one brother, Lockie D. Jones of Chicago, Illinois, four sisters, Mary E. Thomas, Daisy L. Bowers, Vertique Tillar all of Chicago, Illinois, JoAnn Tillar-Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 by Rev. Isom Cross, Jr. Burial in Big Mt. Olive Cemetery in Kelso, Arkansas by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Her body will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 9:15 a.m. until time of services.
