Cloyd Russell "Russ" Keith

Cloyd Keith, 92, passed away on September 19, 2024 at the Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson. He was born on August, 17, 1932 to the late Ira and Lucy Keith.
Cloyd was preceded in passing by his parents; his loving wife of 69 years Donna, siblings Kenny, Kate (Spitler), Art, Chuck, Bobby Joe, Nathan, and several pets he had throughout his life.
He is survived by his children Connie Maurer, Danny (Gloria) Keith, 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog Angel.
Cloyd graduated from Vandercook Lake High School and was then drafted into the Army to serve in the Korean War. Cloyd was quite the handyman; he was even known to fix things that didn't need to be fixed to begin with. He was also very dedicated to his work, working at Kelsey Hayes for 30 years as a pipefitter is a perfect example of that.Cloyd was also an outdoorsman with a love of fishing and hunting, this tied well with his love of travel. He especially liked to go up north, where he could fish, and hunt. He was also fond of watching western movies at home.
