Brenda Ruth Bewley

Brenda Ruth Bewley (Potts), age 52, of Jonesville, Michigan, passed away peacefully under the loving care of her family on December 7, 2025. She was born on July 21, 1973, in Kettering, Ohio, to Larry and Beatrice (VanCise) Potts.
Brenda is survived by her beloved husband Tim Bewley; loving mother Beatrice Potts; cherished sister Debbie (James) Eckart; dear nieces and nephews; aunts Irene, Mary, and her dear uncle Clyde; close friend Joyce Bromley; and fur baby Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her father Larry Potts.
Brenda and her husband, Tim, served as missionaries in Mexico for several years. One of her greatest joys was her namesake, baby Brenda Martinez.
She worked as a Critical Care Pediatric Home Care Nurse for several years, thoroughly enjoying her role as a nurse and caregiver. Additionally, she was employed at Hillsdale Medical Care, where she appreciated her responsibilities and took pride in her work.
Brenda was a compassionate person who prioritized the needs of others. She enjoyed engaging in crafts and cherished spending time with her family and her dog. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A special thank you to her caregivers, particularly Chris, Amanda, and Starr.
A funeral service to honor her life will be held at the Hampton Funeral Home-Hillsdale on Friday, December 12, 2025, beginning at 2 P.M. with Reverend Eddie McClure officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 12 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to help with the funeral expenses for the family.
