Clyde Braden Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rose Funeral & Cremation - Broadway on Feb. 16, 2026.
Clyde Edward Braden, age 83, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on February 15, 2026. Clyde was a man of quiet strength who found his greatest joy in the outdoors. An avid fisherman and hunter, he spent countless days on the water and in the woods, sharing stories, laughter, and simple moments with those he loved. His happiest times were with his grandchildren, who adored their Papaw and the adventures they shared.

Clyde was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Braden; his parents, Sam and Mattie Belle Braden; and a large, loving group of siblings who welcomed him home.

He is survived by his son, Stacey Braden (Cindy), and daughter, Wendi Braden. He leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Brittany Campbell (Dillen) and their sons Dalton and Declan, Bailey Braden; Keegan Dailey (Morgan) and their sons Easton James and Casey; Kendall Dailey; and Kyra Quire (Cooper). Clyde also leaves behind in-laws he deeply loved: Jack Ealy, Mildred Braden, and Jewell and Steve Chambers. In addition, he is survived by a plethora of special nieces and nephews, each of whom held a unique place in his heart.

Clyde's legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the memories made in the outdoors he loved, and the steady, gentle presence he brought to every moment.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Rose Funeral & Cremation Broadway. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Dean Braden officiating. The family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Friday, February 20, 2026, at New Gray Cemetery for an 11:00 am interment service.

Pallbearers: Keegan Dailey, Brian Braden, Perry Braden, Dillen Campbell, Sid Dailey, and Jeremy Paul Honorary Pallbearers: Harry Haynes and Eddie Ankrom.
