Clyde Hayes of Campbellsville, son of the late Arthur Harlan Hayes and Bessie Sidebottom Hayes, was born September 26, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:48 A.M., Tuesday, August 19, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
Clyde owned and operated Creative Press for over 60 years and was a long-time farmer at heart.
He united in marriage to Ruth Ann Karnes May 9, 1981.
Besides his wife, Ruth Ann Hayes of Campbellsville, Clyde is survived by four sons and two daughters: Tommy Hayes and wife, Peggy, Larry Hayes, Timmy Hayes and Shondah Cox and husband, Tim of Campbellsville, Ricky Hayes and wife, Kelli of Harrodsburg and Kristie Hayes DuSharm of Glasgow; fourteen grandchildren: John, Kim, Nikki, Kayla, Matthew, Ashley, Candace, Thomas, Tara, Morgann, Lexi, Reif, Kamree and Jayden; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Ray Hayes August 16, 2022, a great-grandchild, Taylor Hayes and one brother and one sister: Auburn Hayes and Roberda McCubbin.
