Donald Kelly Whitley of Mt. Washington, KY, formerly of Campbellsville, the son of the late Donald C. and Gwendolyn Yvonne (Kelly) Whitley, was born May 26, 1964, in Campbellsville and departed this life on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at his home. He was 61 years of age.

He attended the Grace Heartland Church in Elizabethtown and was a substance abuse counselor.

Donnie had a love of movies and a tremendous passion for music. He could name the rock song and band, two beats into the song. He was a friend and counselor to so many throughout his life. He lived to make people laugh. He knew that laughter was healing, and he healed many. Donnie was many things to many people. He loved people, and they loved him too. Though to him, his greatest accomplishment in life was Landon. He loved being a father more than any song he'd ever heard.

Survivors include his son, Landon Pawley Whitley of Elizabethtown; a brother, Marcus Whitley, and wife, Stacey of Leitchfield.

His nieces and nephews: Sydne Whitley of Edmonton, Ian Hinson of Leitchfield, and Ethan Hinson and wife Nicole; his great-nieces and nephews: Ahliana, Aubrey, and Keaston Hinson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
