Clyde Jones Obituary
Clyde Nelson Jones, age 66 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Monday, December 22, 2025 at his home.
He was born in Piqua, Ohio on March 12, 1959 the son of the late James Sherman and Oma Elizabeth (Freeman) Jones. Clyde had worked for Hartco and was a member of the Cedar Grove United Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, ginseng hunting, and playing his guitar.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Randy Jones; and grandchild Aiden.
Survivors include his fiancé, Marie Campbell of Whitley City, Kentucky; children, Anna Spradlin (Patrick) of Huntsville, Tennessee, James Jones (Kelsi) of Bronston, Kentucky, Mamye Robbins (Danuel) of Oneida, Tennessee, Shawn Jones of Onieda, Tennessee, and Casey Jones (Brittany Mink) of Somerset, Kentucky; brothers, Tom Jones (Susan) of New Vienna, Ohio and Wayne Jones (Jessie) of Stearns, Kentucky; sisters, Mary Cummins of Somerset, Kentucky, Kathy Bryant (Dorman) of Whitley City, Kentucky, Anita Duncan of Whitley City, Kentucky, Jane Bryant (Jeff) of Stearns, Kentucky, and Joanne Bryant (Mike) of Stearns, Kentucky; grandchildren, Makayla, Braxton, Keianna, Elijah, Caden, Allyson, Nathan, Jace, Aubree, Tomi, Matt, Skylar, Noah, Eragon, Gabe, Nayome, Karter, Sailor, Eli, Ruby, Layne, and Connor; 3 great grandchildren; stepchildren, Crystal Gibson and Clifford Campbell; and step grandchildren, Deligh, Scarlett, and Bubbles.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday, December 26, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Bryant and Bro. Mike Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12noon Friday at the Funeral Home.
Family request in lieu of flowers donatins to be made to Clyde's Memorial Fund.
