Clyde Miller

Clyde Junior Miller, 95, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 6:45 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Brickyard Healthcare – Terrace Care Center, La Porte, Indiana.
He was born on June 9, 1930, in La Porte, to Joda and Elsie Miller.
Clyde retired from Modine Manufacturing Company after 42 years of service. He also worked at House of Fara. Clyde was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; ex-wife, Janice Braden; son, Joseph; four brothers; two sisters; three half-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Clyde is survived by his daughter, Kimberley Marshman; four grandchildren, Christopher, Keith, Amanda, and Joey; as well as, four great grandchildren. Also, a special mention to his surviving brother, Bob Truex and his family; his nieces, Rosalie Morrison, Marcia Robbins; as well as, nephews, Gary, Fred, Roger, and Dennis Miller and their families.
Those who knew him appreciated his kind, fun loving spirit. As he became older, he devoted his heart and spirit to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He asked for no big "fuss" as he put it, to be conducted at his passing. Instead, he would encourage those who reflect on his memory to do something kind or charitable. Tentatively, a private gathering may be conducted at a later date. Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W.
